What we do

At RWD, we believe in creating a cleaner, greener future by embracing a circular economy. Our operations focus on waste segregation, recycling, and resource recovery to minimize environmental impact. We collaborate closely with Kajiado Municipality, offering training programs that educate the community on entrepreneurship, effective waste management, and sustainable practices.

We offer various services

Waste Collection and
Segregation

We collect waste from various sources, including households, businesses, and industries, and ensure it is properly segregated at the source. Our trained team of waste pickers helps sort recyclables from non-recyclables, promoting efficiency in waste processing.

Recycling and Resource
Recovery

RWD is committed to recycling as much waste as possible. We focus on converting waste materials like plastics, scrap metals, and paper into reusable resources, reducing the environmental impact of waste disposal. This contributes directly to the circular economy by turning waste into valuable resources.

Community Training and
Sensitization

In collaboration with Kitengela Municipality, we offer training programs to sensitize the community on waste segregation, good waste management practices, and entrepreneurship opportunities in the waste sector. Our aim is to empower individuals to take charge of their environment while creating economic opportunities.

Environmental Compliance
and Advocacy

We are fully compliant with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) regulations and uphold the highest standards of environmental responsibility. We advocate for sustainable waste management practices and engage the community in climate resilience efforts.
